At our Adult Family Home, the safety and well-being of our residents are our top priorities. We maintain a nurturing and secure environment where residents can feel comfortable and cared for. Our trained staff is committed to providing personalized care, ensuring that each resident’s needs are met with attention and respect.
We implement strict safety protocols, including regular health assessments, medication management, and fall prevention measures, to minimize risks and promote overall health. The facility is equipped with safety features such as emergency call systems, secure entrances, and hazard-free spaces to prevent accidents.
Our goal is to create a home-like atmosphere that fosters independence while providing the necessary support. With a strong focus on safety, we are dedicated to ensuring that every resident enjoys a high quality of life in a protected and compassionate environment.
Slips, Trips, and Falls
Slips, Trips, and Falls is the number one cause of injury, especially for our elderly loved ones. We installed commercial grade vinyl flooring in the bathroom that’s textured to grip when the floor is wet to avoid slip hazards. Our bathrooms come equipped with Stainless steel ADA compliant grab bars with attach points rated for 600lbs providing secure grip points that won’t fail.
The bedrooms have antimicrobial rubber backed tile carpet installed that’s dense for wheelchairs, walkers, and reduces trip hazards. It’s designed for hospitals and care centers allowing replacement of individual squares in the case of any bloodborne of bodily fluid contaminination.
Our home has a Qolsys IQ4 security panel, central monitored by Alarm.com for immediate medical and fire response. Every room, hallway, and living space has a Interconnected DCS Smoke/Heat detector and twice the required DCS carbon monoxide detectors for additional safety. Every door and window creates a audible alert when opened, alerting caregivers of any potential wanders.
